Samantha is a Registered Dental Hygienist and earned her degree in dental hygiene from Goodwin University in East Hartford, Connecticut, where she was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and graduated Cum Laude. Before continuing her education in dental hygiene, Samantha worked as a certified dental assistant and anesthesia assistant for fourteen years, specializing in oral and periodontal surgery. Samantha provides a calm bedside manner and is well-versed in managing patients with dental anxiety and autism. Samantha is detail-oriented and follows the latest research to provide evidence-based treatment and product recommendations. Additionally, Samantha enjoys educating patients on the connection between oral and systemic health and periodontal disease, as well as providing nutritional counseling to reduce the risk of dental caries. Samantha is a member of the American Society of Forensic Odontology and the Colgate Oral Health Advisor program (COHA). In her free time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her fiancé, three dogs (Teddy, Dexter, and Casper), and her family and friends, as well as traveling, and exploring new places.
